UFO: Undisputable Flying Obsession: Airbus A380 going to rock the sky

Airbus was fighting hard to be in the market after Boeing launched 747 models in the market. Boeing was dominating passenger plane market. In late 1980s, Jean Roeder, with team of engineers proposed a plan of making Ultra-High-Capacity-Airliner (UHCA). The design, Jean team was working on got approval for feasibility test from Airbus management.  In June 1994 it was finally decided to go for developing a monster aircraft which will have 20% more passenger’s capacity then biggest passenger plan of that itmes that is era of Boeing 747. After long 6 years Airbus launched a program to manufacture the model name A380 with the confirm orders of 50 at cost of $8.8 billion each.

 

The size of this plane is like 19 storage building with height of 73 meters. So just imagine that 555 people with their language can take off in one piece of extreme engineer and this can be seen as one of the man made wonder on this land. The Singapore airline was the first to get the delivery of this flight in 15 October 2007 and Emirates was the second to get in August 2008. Following to this Quantus, Lufthansa, Korean Air and so on got their first delivery in later year. In 2012, Airbus got 253 confirm orders for A380 which was an achievement in themselves. Planes always needs runway? – Pretty old school

If someone ask me what is the main difference between air plane and helicopter, my brain will suddenly come up with a line that, plane will need a pace and run-way to take off and landing where as helicopter doesn’t need the same generally. But, let's change this wrong notion of air plane because humans have such fighter planes which doesn’t need a run-way and take off with the pace. These planes can keep themselves steal in air and act like helicopter as far as takeoff and landing is concerned.

There nothing like so unimaginable fundamental behind this superb show. Simple keeping in mind that when Space shuttle can take off from the earth without any runway why can’t planes too. This may strike you with the idea that plane can be in air with help of thrust which is vertically opposite to the gravitational force. Many countries have made this piece successfully. Talking about one of most powerful country in this area, The United States, they are going to replace their out dated planes with this type of fighter planes. U.S. and Allies countries have funded for the design and manufacturing of this type of planes called F-35. Lockheed martin is a lead of this project. Seeing to the peculiarity these planes will be like great advancements for the Naval force of country where in warships, a long run away is not expected. F-35 are single seated, single engine plane. F-35 has different models with different specialty and cost factors. It is experimented and founded that F-35 will be at least three times more powerful than the existing normal fighter crafts that too at the same cost. 

These types of planes have capacity to hover in the air also. It can be shifted to left and right being steal at zero pace. There are many other species of VOTL planes like Yak, Harrier, Bell-Boeing V-22 Osprey and a long list. The image no. 2 presented here to understand the mechanism is of YAK-38 aircraft designed by Soviet Union. So it is very much understood that the throttle given at the downwards from the nozzle generates force against gravity which keeps this object up flying in air without a pace. Newton's law is very well implemented here. Our thrust for the technology innovation and invention is never going to get decelerated.

Window 8: Experience the new computing from Microsoft after Windows 1995

If you would have experienced the freshness of “Windows 1995”, it was very mesmerizing feeling at the first. It was complete change of User Interface from OS giant Microsoft. Computing was like re-defined into faster and ready-to-swallow way. Now you don’t have to wait much if you dint experienced it at that time, as Microsoft has again redefined the look ‘n’ feel interface of Windows OS and this time it is known as “Windows 8”. You might have read previous article regarding Lumia, so here by Microsoft is bringing similar type of Operating system for Computers aside from Mobile, needless to say that this was the primary idea.

The innovation and new perception which companies like Apple has given to the consumers, has forced every Giants to re-think on their interfaces and way of looking to the Computing. As a result, Microsoft, who was never ever, had anything for consumer with touch screen technology, are about to launch a complete Touch-screen Operating system for the Desktop computing. Talking about the GUI, this time you will get rid of the damn mouse even though you are Microsoft user, since its touch screen era. If you look to the above image, the screen you look is your so called Desktop screen which is divided into rectangular blocks or say “Colorful tiles”. Heart of OS that is the start menu will be no more available instead; all the applications will be visible in the tab under “Apps” tab. Beauty of this interface is the dynamically working of this tiles. These tiles can be seen as a monitoring window for each active app. Like you will be continuously updated with the application say for example outlook tile will be updated with new mails and weather tile will show atmospheric updates. Concept of task manager and explorer remain same but in fact we would not be able to judge this before experiencing the real time hands on over it. Most amazing thing what I found in this launch of Microsoft is the dual-mode usage. Getting clearer, I would say, this will be use as the Laptop as well as the Tablet independently. This feature might attract many user and can this is one of the salient features which may effectively dump Apple’s increasing dominance on tablet market this time.

None of the Giants are going to set themselves back in this cut-throat competition of innovation and grabbing more market share to their bucket. As end user we will always cherish this type of race by getting amazing things for our use and easing our day to day lives.
